Don’t believe everything you think. Sometimes our thoughts, even those about ourselves are wrong! I’m not sure who said this quote, but it’s a good one to print out and put on your mirror, by your computer monitor or on your fridge if you wrestle negative self-talk and body image issues. I love how the Bible talks about God’s thoughts being higher than ours. Additional evidence that our thoughts don’t always get it right:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

I DO!!! I am the one that needs this reminder! Far too many times throughout my life of 67 years, especially starting in the mid-teen years, I believe the lies of being too fat or no good enough in more ways than just the physical. I am reminded by God often and by my precious husband that I am made in His Image and that I am beautiful. That He wants me just as I am.
Yes, I am maybe 6 or 7 pounds over an ideal but that does not matter yet my mind believes this and leads me to beat myself up for it.
